Mr. Abed Assy is a seasoned professional with more than 22 years of experience, having held several key roles, before founding CFM Synergy in 2023.

Mr. Assy started his career with Indevco Group in 2004, where he held several roles in US, Austria and KSA. He then joined SNC-Lavalin, a multinational Engineering firm out of Montreal, Canada, where he held, over the next 13 years, several key roles in Canada and the GCC. Having settled permanently in Dubai, he then took on the role of CEO of a large local Engineering and Contracting firm where he orchestrated a complete turnaround and divesture of the company.

Mr. Assy advised on numerous M&A transactions and related engagements in the Oil and Gas and Engineering & Contracting industry in the UAE and GCC and has a strong track-record in transaction support, company valuation, business planning and modelling, market entry and strategic options.

Mr. Assy graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering from University of Montreal in Canada in 2004 and an Executive MBA from Bayes Business school of London in 2018; and ongoing Executive Learning from Harvard Business School. He is fluent in English, French and Arabic and is passionate about Sports, fitness and politics.

At CFM Synergy, Mr. Assy is personally involved in all client engagements with a particular emphasis on connecting the best investment opportunities with the most suitable sources of capital.

Mr. Michel Khoury is a seasoned executive with over 40 years of experience spanning Canada, KSA, and the UAE across multiple industries. A graduate of a Canadian university in 1981, he has successfully led business turnarounds, startups, mergers, and acquisitions, consistently delivering strong returns and high shareholder satisfaction. His diverse expertise includes mining, stainless steel and copper transformation, high-tech aerospace manufacturing, plastics, machining, and fabrication. Additionally, he has managed three contracting businesses, equipping him with deep industry insights and a strategic approach to driving change and optimizing performance.

At CFM Synergy, Mr. Khoury leverages his extensive experience to guide businesses through complex mergers, acquisitions, and strategic transformations. His deep understanding of diverse industries, combined with his strong leadership and negotiation skills, enables him to structure and execute successful deals that maximize value for stakeholders.

Mrs. Azab is an accomplished senior banker with over 19 years of experience in investment banking, corporate banking, and private banking across the GCC, MENA region, and North America. A recognized leader in the industry, she has played a pivotal role in establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with global financial institutions, supporting the needs of large corporate clients.

With an extensive network spanning Ultra High Net-Worth Individuals (UHNWIs), family offices, corporates, and institutional clients, she has successfully managed an AUM of USD $450 million, consistently generating USD $6 million in annual revenue.

Most recently, she served as Head of Wealth Management at DIFC, where she was responsible for expanding the Arab client portfolio across the region. Prior to this, she held several senior relationship management roles at HSBC, Royal Bank of Canada, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, and INVESTCORP, operating from Dubai and catering to high-profile clients.

At CFM Synergy, Mrs. Azab applies her extensive banking expertise to drive mergers, acquisitions, and strategic financial advisory services. Her deep understanding of global financial markets, combined with her ability to structure and execute high-value transactions, enables her to deliver tailored solutions that maximize value for clients and stakeholders.

Mr. Yasser Darwish is a seasoned investment banker with over 20 years of experience, including nearly 15 years as an Investment Manager at Artoc Group, a multinational investment company. He has successfully led over $500 million in acquisitions, mergers, and divestments across multiple sectors, including real estate, consumer products, and industrial ventures throughout the Middle East

.In addition, Mr. Darwish has played a pivotal role in listing more than 70 companies on the stock exchange, demonstrating his deep expertise in capital markets, corporate finance, and strategic investments.

A highly qualified professional, he has been a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) since 2002 and a Chartered Market Technician (CMT) since 2010. Beyond his investment career, he is also a dedicated instructor for prestigious financial certification programs, including CFA, CMA, CAIA, CTP, and MBA programs, contributing to the development of future finance professionals.

Mr. Alsafy is a highly accomplished legal professional with over 25 years of experience managing corporate legal matters across the UAE, Qatar, and Egypt.
